I understand that not all situations go as planned and that appointments may need to be rescheduled.
I request at least 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule/cancel your appointment.
If you provide less than 24 hour notice (which is not for an emergency) or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged $50.00 for the missed appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you have not previously participated in counseling, knowing what to expect can be helpful in beginning the process. Counseling is a process and a collaborative relationship between you and your therapist.
After you have scheduled your initial appointment, you will be asked to complete intake forms via the online Client Portal. These forms will help me to begin to understand your situation and potential needs.
Your first session may include follow up questions and further discussion about your struggles, needs, and goals from therapy. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about counseling or what to expect in therapy.

I earned my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in 2011. I have worked in two different states and have worked in several different settings including residential, outpatient, and private practice. In those settings, I have worked with adolescents, adults, families and couples with a wide range of issues - mood disorders, relationships, trauma, substance abuse, personal growth, life changes, career issues, and personality characteristics. I approach issues through developing a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship & help people set short-term goals to reach long-term goals to continue in their life journey and adventures.
